Beginning Youth Hockey

Iceoplex offers hockey classes for children who are brand new to ice hockey. In these classes the child will learn to skate and be exposed to puck handling and control. Classes are offered twice per week, and children are encouraged to take both classes to help them develop their skills more quickly. Once the child graduates from these classes he or she is ready to move into our in-house program. Click on “Iceoplex Penguins” to learn more about in-house hockey.

Free Beginning Hockey Class

Iceoplex is excited to introduce our Free Hockey Class for ages 4-10. This Class gives your child the opportunity to try ice hockey at no cost.

This 16 week (two 8 week sessions) gives kids of all levels the opportunity to find out if they like the sport prior to purchasing the hockey equipment. The class is offered on Tuesdays 5:30pm – 6:15pm.

All Hockey gear is provided for the first 8 weeks. New Players only. Beginning Hockey Class

This class is perfect for anyone who does not want to wait on the waiting list for the Free Hockey Class.

This class is part of the Skating School that runs in two month semesters. Register at the box office for the current or upcoming semester. This class will focus on the skating skills needed to graduate into the In-House hockey program.
