The Fitness and Aquatics Center is committed to providing the best workout experience possible without the hype, sales pitches, and other outside pressures. Our professional staff teaches all classes keeping your health, safety, and fun in mind.
Aquatic Classes
In our 25-meter lap pool we offer a variety of Aquatics classes, such as water aerobics, year round swimming lessons for all ages and levels, and other water classes for limited mobility or more rigorous activity. We offer an Arthritis Class by Arthritis Foundation certified Instructors. Our indoor pool is heated between 84 & 86 degrees, great low impact therapeutic workout. Read more for the schedule...
Swimming Lessons

In our heated Indoor pool we offer swimming lessons for all ages and skill levels, year round! Classes are taught by the standards and objectives of The American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. Lessons are fun and encouraging while teaching safety in and around the water.

Level Details
Parent & Child Aquatics
6months - 5yrs
Gives parents information and techniques to help their young children feel comfortable in and around the water, so they are prepared to learn how to swim.
Preschool Aquatics 1
Ages 2/3 yrs
Helps children feel comfortable in the water and enjoy the water safely, while practicing basics such as blowing bubbles, arm actions, and kicking.
Preschool Aquatics 2 & 3
Ages 3/4/5 yrs
Gives children success with fundamental skills, such as floating and basic swimming motion. , while improving coordination.
Learn-to-Swim Levels 1-6
Ages 6 & Up
Level 1 – Introduction to Water skills - Builds the foundation of floating, and practices swimming independently with face in the water.
Level 2 – Fundamental Swimming Skills - Builds further on swimming independently with face in the water. Practice with backstroke, and floating, and introduces side breathing.
Level 3 – Stroke Development - Practices all skills learned in Levels 1 & 2. Identifys Freestyle and Backstroke. Builds on and practice sidebreathing and swimming further distances. Introduces Breaststroke.
Level 4 – Stroke Improvement - More practice with Breaststroke, builds on and improves Freestyle and Backstroke. Introduces Butterfly, and swimming even further distances, such as, 50 yards with each stroke. (2 pool lengths)
Level 5 – Stroke Refinement - Refines of all the strokes; Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, Sidestroke. Works on flip turns and using training equipment.
Level 6 – Fitness Swimmer - Utilzes training equipment, such as, pull bouys and pace clocks. Teaches swimming greater distances with ease and efficiency. (This level is closest to a swim team preparation class)
Adult 18+
Beginner: Learn fundamental aquatic skills and develop confidence in the water. This class focuses on becoming confident with floating and breathing, and teaches basic swimming skills.
Advanced: Improve aquatic skills and benefit your health and fitness. This class focuses on practicing swimming skills for more ease and efficiency, other strokes are also introduced.

The Holiday Family Swim Night was a blast! The pool area was decorated and brimming with holiday cheer. There was a noodle race across the pool, all who particpated got a prize :) Did you make an ornament at the craft table? Or, receive a free chair massage compliments of Massage by Maggi?
Thank you to all particpants, we hope you had as much fun as we did. Looking forward to the next time we hold an event like this, keep checking the website for updates!
Aerobic Class
